Took young kids snow tubing for the first time. Another guest got angry at them on the life, cursed at my six and seven year old and threw our tubes over the sides. Staff did zero interacting with threatening man. ... Vollständige Bewertung
Nice mountain but check lift operations before you visit. Two of the main lifts had to be shut down in the middle of a busy afternoon leaving large crowds of skiers waiting in long lines to get up the mountain. The delays lasted for hours. I've never seen anything like it at a ski resort.... Vollständige Bewertung
They have a great mountain overall. Only complaints are their terrain park on Nightmare to Dreamweaver. It was a great run, but then they added a park there, and I feel unsafe and uncomfortable going down. The run is very narrow, and makes it easy for someone to land right on top of you. There has already been an accident on it, which did not end very well. I was sad when they removed the terrain park from Sidewinder a few years ago. I still wonder why they did not put it back there, and chose one of my favorite runs to mess up instead. I have skied at blue mountain for 10 years, and I am a frequent visitor, so you can take my word for it. I do not mean to offend them or any terrain park lovers, but it is not very fun to go down it anymore. That is all to the cons, but the pros.. There are many. One is that their season pass is at an acceptable price, another is the glade runs that they have. The lodges are very nice and maintained well. The enforcement for coronavirus is very good, too. Very nice mountain, but if they just could move their features over to Sidewinder.... Vollständige Bewertung
I've been skiing here on and off for the past 20 years and I must say, Blue Mountain is the best ski area in the Poconos. I returned for the first time in years last winter and was very impressed with the new terrain features and proposed planned expansion for the upcoming season.
The high speed lifts from the base lodge are great if you want to get a lot of vert and turns in for the day. When the mountain gets crowded, I prefer the slower but steeper double chairs above Main Street. Barney's Bumps is a great run for anyone working on tackling moguls. I appreciate that Blue Mountain is the only place in the area that offers quasi-groomed, moguled terrain.
They have made several improvements to the upper and lower lodges that make lunchtime much more tolerable than other ski areas in the NYC area. It's still a relatively small mountain, jam packed with skiers and intermediate level groomed terrain, but for the Pocanos, you ain't getting much better! ... Vollständige Bewertung
Best area close to Phila and Allentown. Vertical is the best and the pitch is consistent vs all in the first 25% of a trail. It isn't Vermont but they handle the crazy climate as well as is possible. Nightmare and Dreamweaver are fun as is Sidewinder and Switchback. Challenge has a fun head wall, when open Racers Edge adds a nice rolling finish to the same head wall. Bumps on Nightmare and Barney’s are seeded regularly and come spring they add it to Races and/or Challenge. Racing program features only FIS certified in Pennsylvania.... Vollständige Bewertung
I just returned home from a 2hr trip to Blue Mountain. I took my 13 year old son to go Snow Boarding. Checking in at the Summit Lodge was fine but the conditions were horrible. Basically packed ice and windy. Since my son is a beginner, you can imagine the time we had trying to get down the mountain. Not an ideal day to try to teach someone. We returned our rentals before 11am which is less than 2 hours after we took possession. The people in the rental returns were great. I explained the conditions and the tough time my son had and they were very understanding and went so far as to suggest I should try talking to the woman at the ticket window. The people in rentals were great and were legitimately interested in our experience there. Unfortunately, the woman at the ticket window was not and less than understanding when it came to our short experience there. She almost seemed to take enjoyment in telling me "too bad" in other words. Really? It's not like we skied for 6 hours and tried to pull a fast one. We were legitimately there after renting for 90 minutes and the lady could care less. Her lack of client service will ensure we will never go to Blue Mountain again. Smart thing to do would be to comp us discounts in future to make an attempt to bring us back. What a disappointment and bad experience. ... Vollständige Bewertung

RISK YOUR LIFE - TOTAL BLATANT DISREGARD FOR THE CUSTOMER. Blue Mt is a local ski area frequented by high school and college kids looking to see who can get down the mountain the quickest. It's dangerous! Ski at your own risk. The management has a total lack of regard for the customers. My wife and I recently visited and spend $170. We used our credit card to purchase a $7 locker. It did not work properly so we decided to put our bags in the car. We approached ticket counter who told us, "to bad" no refund on the locker. I asked to speak with the supervisor, she abruptly refused to refund the money. At this point it had nothing to do with the money, it was about the principle. I asked to speak to the general manager. NOW IT GETS WORSE. The ticket counter supervisor left and never returned. Yes, I stood there at the window for 45 minutes waiting for someone to address this issue. Their blatant ignorance not only effected me but as was occupying one of two opened windows the line waiting to purchase a ticket tripled. The line to buy tickets had to be 50 plus people and over an hour at this point. The funny thing here is they're not going to get the $7 anyway because I'm just going to dispute the charge on my credit card. Read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor. Avoid Blue Mountain!...
