Gut zum Einstieg, insbesondere für Familien. Wer sich verbessern mag, kann das hier bei guten Winterverhältnissen tun.
In unserem Fall war es zu voll. Alle Serben, Rumänen, Griechen und natürlich Bulgaren, die fahren wollten, mussten mangels Alternativen hierher kommen. Wenn dann Sulziger Schnee und viel Traffic (mit schnellen Fahrern) aufeinandertreffen, wird es unangenehm.

I skied pamps for the 1st time Jan 2018 with my family of 5. Skills range from careful intermediates who like blue runs to advanced 10 + years experienced all terrain skiers. I did not expert the terrain to be challenging for me or my sons who are more likely to hit red or black runs. We were all pleasantly surprised by the variety. Pamps markets itself as a begginers area with around 300m of vertical for the resort (from there own website). Whilst this is true for Studenets area, they dont mention that Malina has 500m vertical with most runs red or black and superb. Also similiar vertical is available on stoykite area with a number or runs >3kms. From 2017 the neighbor resort of Mechi Chal is available on your pamp ticket via free bus. This hill offers over 700m (2200ft) vertical and some really nice red/black terrain. Also a bonus is that around 80% of resort has snowmaking so good skiing is available even if natural snow is lacking. The resort is cheaper and less crowded than other bulgarian resorts and the whole family loved it.

Incredible place to learn if you are a beginner all the instructors were very patient and kind and helpful. Ski depot was very efficient and organised! The ski lifts were great and we never had to queue and the slopes were amazing especially the black runs!

Pamporova is not a huge resort, but if you are a new skier or a skier in your first few weeks, this resort is excellent Pretty mountain, not intimidating and a superb ski school. Enough good sking to keep all but advanced and experts busy for a week. I will be going back.

Just got back from visiting Pamporovo. This was our first ever skiing holiday so we didn't want any slopes that were too advanced for us. Pamporovo was just perfect for us. We booked into the ' Pamporovo ski skool ' and our insturctor Christo was excellent, he explained everything to us and if anyone in our group was having dificulty nothing was too much trouble to him. We also went with him on an evening out to the village where he was from and went to a local resturante where we were treated like kings. Hence to say the people were so friendly and welcoming. Pamporovo is definatley a perfect ski resort for both beginners and experienced skiers and we will certainly be going back next year and can highly recommend this resort. Roll on 2012 here we come ! !

Absolutely wonderful resort. The scenery is so very breath-taking.
We were a mixture of beginners and intermediate skiiers and this resort suited everyones needs in this area.
The locals were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurants had a very varied and tasty selection of food.
Some of our group hired skidoos and with a guide travelled to the Rhodopi Mountains.
We are all looking forward to re-visiting Pamporovo for the next winter seaon.
