Mt.

We have skied here since 2007 and gotten season passes as the kids got older. Nice small local hill. The main attraction is the snowboard park.
Did not get a season passes this year. However, my son still insists on going and is spending his own money to do so.
Almost $60 to ski in the evening is ridiculous for a small local hill. For example my daughter got a full day pass at another small local hill for $15. To make it worse tonight the rails were getting sticky but the park crew told my son to go inside get some wax and wax them himself.
mt.B you should be ashamed - you are pushing away your customer base

I like to go here every once and a while, and although it is a bit small, it is still a cool place to snowboard (and ski) in Michigan. I do wish it could be bigger, but that isn't very much under their control. Overall, I'd say that it is a great place for beginners, and intermediate rippers, but not so much for the experts. I generally like to go here, but not as often as I would if it was bigger, more different variety of skill levels and if the prices (for renting boards or skis) were a little less. I have a board now, but when I had to rent one myself, and when my friends go with me it gets a little pricey.

They have done a great job of improving the terrain and the facilities since Vail bought them. This is not extreme skiing so get over it. For a local place this is exactly what you want. Enjoy it.

I made a mistake on my purchase date, and came the following day instead of the date I purchased a lift and lesson + lift + rental for my daughter. They had me purchase everything again. They only honored the lesson but had me purchase everything at high cost again, so I ended up paying double for that whole session. They could have given me the rental for free at least. Wasn’t very nice.

Save your $ and go elsewhere. There are much nicer hills close by. Mt. Brighton is overpriced, overcrowded and the runs are small/short/nothing exciting. They are definitely all about the money. I can't believe what they charge for lift tickets when this is a very small hill. Management does not care about their customers at all. I purchased a three day lift ticket for my son and husband and only got to use one day because they shut down early due to the corona virus. They compared this to shutting down due to weather and said I purchased an unrefundable ticket even though their website said they would be open last weekend and they weren't. I simply asked for a voucher for next year and they refused. So in the end, I paid $120 each / $240 total for my husband and son to ski one day. I will never go back due to their lack of understanding / compassion. All they do is take advantage of people with their high priced tickets and overcrowded hill.

Finding a decent vertical drop, good snow conditions, and a large number of runs is going to be a challenge in lower Michigan. Given this, Mt. Brighton is a good place to ski close to home. I skied here in a warm January day and was pleased with the condition of the snow and grooming. If you are heading to a Vail resort out West, you can deduct the cost of the Mt. Brighton lift ticket with the cost of the lift ticket out there, which is great.

Mt. Brighton is your typical teenage snow rat hang out. 90% of the clientele is under the age of 18, and during the weekends the terrain park will be packed. Not family friendly at all, fights are a common occurrence on the hill. Management is completely inept and the resort is almost always understaffed, causing long lines and less runs. Do yourself a favor, and drive over to Alpine Valley, Mt. Holly, or Pine Knob.

I have been a season ticket holder for the past 4 years. Contrary to a post from last spring,, I very much enjoy the staff and the "mountain". No it's not Nubs Knob or Shanty Creek, but it is a well run fun place to be. I am a senior skier and enjoy watching the teen skiers at the boarding park.
